Sports Identity Adds PGA Champions Tour member Mike Goodes to Client Portfolio
Sports Identity is proud to announce a partnership with Dearborn Golf Management and golfer Mike Goodes to manage his marketing and visibility efforts as the Champions Tour kicks into high gear for the summer.
Mike is a unique story as he is the only golfer in the history of the PGA Senior and now Champions Tour to have never played on the PGA Tour prior. Only 2 years into his professional tour career on, Mike just won the Allianz Championship in February at the Old Course at Broken Sound in Boca Raton, narrowly beating one of his friends and practice partner, Fulton Allem, as well as PGA great Bernhard Langer with a 66 on the final Sunday. On top of this, Mike has compiled six (6) Top 10 finishes as well as thirteen (13) Top 25 finishes with all seven (7) of his starts this season finishing within these categories. Included is a 2nd Place finish in the Champions Tour Major, Jeld Wen Tradition, nipping on the heals of Fred Funk but ultimately falling just short. Currently, he is 12th on the Champions Tour money list.
Sports Identity will aid in gear endorsement program development, pitch, and activation, along with securing appearances and charitable events based on Mike’s preferences and personal life. Mike is a Reidsville, NC native and currently resides in Brown Hill, NC. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and owns a packaging company as well as being a partner in a plastic recycling endeavor in his home state.
